Unique Handmade Stainless Steel Chain Necklace in a Petite Birdcage weave. Here is our small size Birdcage weave (Sometimes referred to as a Byzantine weave). It's created by ‘jumping’ sets of alternating rings to fold back onto themselves. It has the same square-knot pattern as the other birdcage sizes except it is only 5.60 mm thick. This makes for a complex and light neck chain. In an 18 in. necklace, it contains 504 rings and takes nearly 5 hours to construct! 5.60 mm wide, finished with a Lobster Clasp.
